WELCOME

Welcome! Feel free to look around and see the sights. The topic at this site focuses on the prophetic artisan in relation to the God of the bible. There are parallels to be drawn for the other arts as well. Perhaps, you may be able to connect the dots to your field, if it's outside the creative arena.

Here you'll find WIP's (works in progress) and demos of completed works. I will show process and technique from the inspired thought to thumbnail sketch and notan, through drafts and revisions, and on to the completed painting.

In addition:

— Holy Spirit guidance and escort throughout the piece's development, will be emphasized

— The importance of spontaneous work before live audiences will be addressed. God works through both ways — the long drawn-out process and the impromptu

— The concept of "a prayer with every brushstroke" will be considered. The final work becomes a prophetic prayer journal on canvas. I call this active, ongoing journal the "CONVO"

— We will look at the role of the prophetic artist and a more specific function — the prophetic artist as a "Visual Minstrel". There are differences between these two ministerial capacities

A Test — Just A Test

Testing the bible pop-ups. Gal 2:20

Welcome To My Journey

You're probably wondering and asking, "What is a visual minstrel?", or for starters, "What is a minstrel?" I'm not talking about a traveling entertainer wearing blackface and white gloves. My definition of a minstrel comes from the bible.
